Larger Than Life Mural Videos

Mural videos are an added bonus when working with Larger Than Life Murals. It’s a great way to get a glimpse into the mural painting process. Whether for education, documentation, or marketing, mural videos can be as entertaining as useful. We shoot high-speed time-lapse video and HD video, in addition to still photography.

Welcome Home Warriors is a public art mural honoring the veterans and the fallen of the Vietnam War. It’s been a year-long endeavor with several phases. Below are some videos from the mural painting, installation, and dedication.

“Discover Our Desert” Mural-In-A-Day Video

A collaboration between Larger Than Life Murals and the Onaga Elementary School G.A.T.E. Class and their teacher, Heather Possehl. This mural video includes a few photos from before and after painting the mural, as well as a hi-speed time-lapse of the students on “paint day” in just 3 minutes. See the full article here.

Heavy Shield Native American Mural in Hi-Speed Time-Lapse Video

This video shows 10 days in total; 2 days of preparation and 8 days painting the art in about 12 minutes. Painted in our Larger Than Life Murals Studio for the 2014 Hwy. 62 Open Studio Art Tours, “Heavy Shield” is 10.5′ wide by 12.5′ high, acrylic on a canvas we stretched in our studio. Canvases can be taken down, rolled up, and shipped virtually anywhere in the world. It can be installed on an exterior or interior wall, temporarily or permanently.

Bighorn Sheep Mural Hi-Speed Time-Lapse

This video is 17.5 hours of painting a mural, time lapsed into 3.5 minutes. This Bighorn Sheep mural was one of several commissioned by Yucca Family Medical Care. Painted by Larger Than Life Murals, artists Linda Shrader and Echo Westover.

Lesley’s Reaction to her Seahorse Spa Mural

From a drifting sea turtle, to colorful corals and an assortment of fish, to an erie shipwreck and more, the Seahorse Spa Mural will keep bathers entertained while they soak. A private commission in Joshua Tree, CA, owner Lesley was thrilled with the final results. We have many happy clients, but gotta admit, Lesley is one of our favorites 😉

“Welcome to Joshua Tree” Mural

A community project organized by Frederick Fulmer of JTAG, Welcome to Joshua Tree was sponsored by several businesses in the Village of Joshua Tree. The mural was designed and painted by Larger Than Life Murals, Mar. 2013, with enthusiastic support from the community. Joshua Tree Health Foods owner, Linda Perry, graciously agreed to donate the east-facing wall of her building for the location. The original painting, “Surprise Jack,” was used with permission from local artist, Marcia Geiger, and re-created in the mural by lead artist, Echo Westover. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped in one way or another!

Larger Than Life Murals Promo Video

This is a general purpose promo video, which includes footage from 4 different mural projects: The Color of Music mural- Indian Wells Arts Festival, Fullenwider Auditorium lettering- Riverside County Fair Grounds, and Here Comes The Sun Mural- Indian Wells Arts Festival.
